Thorens 160td b mkii with Linn Basik lvv tonearm?

I thinking about purchasing a Thorens 160td mkii with a Linn Basik lvv tonearm, ortofon omb 5e cartridge. I've read mixed things about the lvv tonearm. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
