it's a thingie that attaches to the speaker cable.

Failing you finding a pair, Alan, why not ask somebody here if they can make you some? All that's inside the little box is a capacitor and a resistor in series I think.

About £2.50 worth of parts.

Ah - so it's a Zoble network. Think I might have the relevant values somewhere. See if I can find them.

Nope...It goes on your mains side.....it looks like a speaker zapperator...but it has 3 wires... brown / blue / green and yellow cables protruding from it....it's a mains conditioner...

Sounds like a simple capacitor network of one X rated and two Y rated suppression capacitors, known as a Delta network.

Certainly a lot less complicated than the Russ Andrews device as shown in your photograph. (And, no doubt, a lot less expensive! :))

The Russ Andrews zapperators are £137.00 each...a wonderful piece of kit...But I'm as tight as a ducks arse...and that's water tight...although I do have two of the zapperators..but it would kill me to spend £137.00 a pop...to get more..now I don't have to...

That's the true spirit of AOS :) - I must say... that is one hell of a saving.

People take heed... just ask. :)
