Wanted: Sovtek KT88 Pair or Quad

Does anyone have a pair or quad of Sovtek KT88s they could be persuaded to part with?

I have two here and they seem to suit my system well but I need another couple but they seem to be unobtainable.

They're not masters of anything but just seem a good match for my system at the mo.

If Sovteks aren't available I might be interested in other brands if you have something else.

Thanks for that Simon. Phoned them this morning and they only have four odd unmatched ones left. Might still be an option though. I like them; dynamic enough not to be boring but not all in your face. Nice bass too, naturally weighty but with some definition and timbre.

How are they lasting?

I purchased these new a couple of years ago, installed for 1-2hrs to check they weren't DOA. Seller claimed they're a matched quad, unfortunately I have no way to test and confirm this. Supplied in non-original white boxes.

RRP appears to be around £60 / $100, i'd be looking for £150 inc. Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Thanks Gareth. I think I'll hold out for the Sovetek KT88s as they are a known quantity in my system.

I know there's no other way but don't want to find I don't like them after buying. :(
