Selling my trusty CD-80 (black) that needs some attention.Built like a battleship, lots of copper plating inside and copper chassis screws, and uses the famous TDA1541AS1 chip.
CD tray (CDM1MkII) stopped working so I partly dismantled it to see if some fiddling would get the tray working again - sadly not. I have removed lid, side cheeks and the CD tray mechanism and have retained all the parts.
I have no need for it as I have several other CD players which I hardly use so it's not worth me replacing the CD tray but this might be of interest to someone who has the time and knowledge to get it up and running again. I have the original remote (one of the little battery contacts has broken off which I have fixed with a piece of copper wire to make the connection). I have the original instruction manual.

Not sure what a fair price is for this but does £100 sound about right? Collection from SW London or West Sussex.
I am also separately selling a CDA-94 DAC in full working order that I used to use with the CD-80.
Both items owned from new from KJ or Audio-T (can't remember which) back in the day.
