Hi all. Long time lurker, first time poster.
After a few years away from rather low end hi-fi I was tempted back whilst accompanying a friend to buy a system.
Current setup is:
Rega RP1 with performance kit, glass platter, achromat and Ortofon 2M Red
Arcam irDAC
Sonneteer Alabaster
Quad 12L2 / Elac 203 A
It might not be the fanciest setup but it's so easy to listen to for hours on end.
Music taste is pretty broad with everything from The Beatles to Nine Inch Nails. Placebo is a real favorite and (probably a first on here) my not so guilty pleasure is My Chemical Romance. There. I said it. This is a lot like therapy!
Thanks for all the advice and knowledge I've anonymously plundered from here so far and I hope to get to know you all better.
