17597Bought this package for the arm. Such a nice piece of kit but sadly I can really only use one turntable at a time. Has two issues, one obvious, no arm. Second is a crack in what otherwise would be a 8/10 dust cover. This has been mended but not by me I hasten to add.
I think these were brought out to challenge the Linn, Looks very smart and well worth the inclusion is a middle to high end system.
Runs quietly and the belt is fine. The platter mat has some shading on it's suede finish but nothing bad.
I am pricing to sell and collection only at the moment. I may ship if the buyer sends a courier and accepts the risks of transit. I do have a good box but not the original.
As can be seen it is set up for an SME but I have a SME/Rega board that I made. Not pictured but it's not at all bad really. ( the adaptor board that is.
Asking £150 and for what is a super looking and VERY heavy turntable, serious engineering I think, it's a snip.

That is a very good price for what is a very good deck. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks, As you well observe . Give it an arm, new lid if wanted, and you have a classic.
Or you can always buy a project!!!!

Rgds.

I understand these were fitted with a variety of arms, SME. Hadcock, ADC, Ultra craft, and I'm sure could be adapted to many more. It is a really solid turntable weighing in at much more than a Linn.Looks to have a steel chassis. No plinth warp here.
Any questions I will do my best to answer.

Not wanting to intrude but I have lots of experience of these. This is a gift at the asking price. These were seriously well made and much underrated tables.
Mission 774 on this and you'd have to spend a fortune to beat it. GLWTS :-)

Starting to wonder about the sale! If I can find a decent Rega maybe it's worth keeping.
I will give it a day or so then revaluate.
It's an excellent turntable to build a system around.
