With all this chatting about LS3/5as on TAOS, how about this new
Graham LS3/5 ?
There are positive reviews and discussion on the Internet.
I was going to listen to a pair at Hidden Systems in
Hampshire, but never organised anything.
Have any Forum members heard them ?

Not heard them but is it an LS3/5A with different drivers, cabinet and x'over ?

Lovely speakers but do take due note of their intended design point and use.
They are NOT designed for even medium rooms - they were made for space limited control areas in OB units and small control rooms.
In those conditions and with that use they perform amazingly well - for larger spaces the LS 5/9 was designed and for large main control rooms of course the now legendary LS 5/8.

I understand they are based on the BBC LS3/5, not the '3/5a.
Designer Derek Hughes has chosen a custom - built Volt bass/mid.
driver and a SEAS tweeter.
No doubt the 'LS3/5a Completists' will buy a pair...
Martyn.
