Nice!! What's the power piece ? Looks classy and purposefully meaty in equal measure :)

It is a Yaqin MS-20L, EL34 based. 25wpc triode mode, 50wpc ultra linear. I use triode mode all the time.

Nice setup. That sloping ceiling must almost 'horn couple' your speakers to the room! :)
Stacked QUADS we have seen before but must be a first for stacked Klipsch. I like the extensive record collection, too.

Nice eclectic kit and music tastes.
A closer view of the Klipsch stacks and xovers:

The xover on top of the LaScala and behind the Heresy is for the Heresy

Love the room. A natural horn you might say. A cozy and personal space methinks. What kind of turntable is it?

Thanks, the turntable is a Technics SL-1200M3D with lots of mods. :D
So how does the speaker set up work? Are the La Scalas just used as bass cabs? What are the x-over frequencies?

They are wired in parallel at the xover inputs, all drivers working.
I had heard about people dong this and liking it so about a year or so ago I tore my listening room down for new flooring and paint (then the Heresy's were rear surrounds). When I put everything back I put the Heresy's on top of the LaScalas on a whim to see how they would sound. They have been there ever since.
One of those things where it shouldn't work on paper but just does in reality then? I suppose that is loudspeakers and rooms in a nutshell.

Well said :)
I tried it with the Heresy's upside down because it is said that the tweeters should be close together, I honestly cannot tell a difference so keep them upright.
I have been told "If you have to do that you need new speakers" etc.... I don't have to do it, just tried it and like it.
Maybe my speakers didn't read the textbook on how they should sound?
