Been lurking here for a bit a decided to jump in. I work in the medical field but went to electronics school in the 70s and was a licensed tech back then, now I just use that for a lot DIY. Most of my equipment has been modded/upgraded or built by me.

My system consists of:
Yaqin MS-20L integrated amp, slightly modded
Technics SL1200 M3D turntable, highly modded
Hagerman Cornet 2 phono pre, built and modded
Emotiva ERC-1 CD player, no mods
Nakamichi CR-1A cassette, no mods
1981 Klipsch La Scalas with ALK type xovers and 1987 Heresy II with custom xovers, Heresys stacked on the La Scalas and wired in parallel

Also have a 7.2 home theater set up with an Onkyo TX-SR608 receiver, I share the mains with it and the Yaqin with a switch I built.

Thanks, I listen to literally everything. Mostly classic rock and jazz, but metal, classical, and country are there too.

I have been tweaking my system for several years, just pulled the transformer out of the Technics and made an external power supply (based on what was done here) and will replace the regulator next. After that I have no plans.

Welcome aboard David.. Alabamy eh..wonderful that we get folk from across the world join up... Ive had a yaqin integrated in past and enjoyed it lots. I like emotiva gear too, hows the cd player? Ive got one of their phono amps which is very good.

Thanks, the Emotiva CD player is very accurate and a tad on the bright side compared to others I have used in this system. I picked it up about 5 years ago when I lived in the Nashville area (I was 15 miles from Emotiva headquarters) got the ERC at one of their "garage sales" for less than half price, a great bargain to me.

I also have two Ultra 10 subs from Emotiva that I only use for home theater.
