Whilst mooching about in a charity shop today, I came across a mint copy of ‘Carols from Salisbury’, sung by the Choir of Salisbury Cathedral on the Meridian label.

Recorded by John Shuttleworth (possibly using the famed ‘Blumlein crossed pair’ microphone configuration). Not bad for 50p.
