Has anyone done the MLC5/6 bass mod to their Caiman (i.e. 100nf ceramic cap and 36k resistor) with the standard 4562 Opamps?

Interested in any findings and thoughts in particular does this boost the bass at the expence of over all transparency.

Regards

Standard LM4562 is the NA which is the version Stan recommended with this mod anyway, it doesn't seem to suit the metal can HA version as well

Best to try it yourself as some folks like the mod and some don't, the parts are dead cheap and available from Maplins etc.
Easiest thing to do is cut up a 8pin DIL socket turning it into a pair of mini sockets and then fit them into where MLC5/6 was. just solder the cap and resistor in series and you can easily slot it into the socket to make comparing quick and easy
