My lovely Aurieges Line Pre Amplifier is looking for a new home. I got it from Paul (Flapland).

Reasons for selling: I have upgraded to Shindo Monbrison.

Wow this is a gorgeous preamp. I heard this briefly with my VAC monoblocks and it was a great combination. Unfortunately I am selling the VACs, but I've been lusting after this pre since hearing it.

It's a fabulous Pre indeed, in immaculate condition also. Everyone should experience what Shindo has on offer at least once in their life... Their kits are very special. I have gone up the ladder but one could easily live happy with the Aurieges as the end game. It's that good.

Solovox was an own brand cheapo speaker from Comet discount warehouses back in the late 70's:eek: A change of name maybe?

I would still have it, except, like Bernard, I got the opportunity to buy a Monbrison and went with that for its wonderful phonostage. In many ways, I (and others) really adored the presentation of the Aurieges, which has an uncanny knack of capturing the real tone of 'live' instruments. Magical device, well worth hearing. Good looker, too ... and retails for something like $5000 new.

Some background/history on the unit .. It's around 5 years old, originally bought new by a Wammer (iaxel), then sold to Peter (Petrat) then ended up with Paul (flapland). The unit is immaculate and comes with some spare valves (you may not use them at all as Shindos are very easy on valves).

The Aurieges Line Stereo's RRP is around $5,000 and represents great value.
