Yes, 3 grand seems a bit much. I have a 1961, 1969 Mini and a 1969 Riley Elf here. The Minis are in slightly better condition than the ebay one. The Riley is very good.

I remember those. Direct competitor to the Scimitar GTE (same engine, Essex V6).

My rich friend had one, pretty fast. Next car his Dad bought for him was a new Triumph Vitesse. I can't remember if it was the 1.6 2.0 litre.

A friend of mine had a garage near by. He had 2 Gilbern Invaders there at one time , being worked on , belonging to customers.
They were specialists in kit car building , Gemaco Preparations , based on a VW Beetle chassis and engine gear , but the name of the kit car has escaped me at the minute.
