Hello everyone!

I am glad I have joined the forum. I am a fan of music, mostly classical, which led me to reach out for good quality audio.

I have an old Quad System: a 44 control unit with a 405 amplifier and a pair of ESL 57's, although I added a subwoofer to meet today's recording demands on the system. I play my records on a Luxman PD 44 turntable with an SME Type III tonearm and a Shure V15 Type 5 cartridge. Sounds great. My CD's go through a very warm and pleasent sounding QUAD cd player.

That's a nice system you have there. You're obviously a Quad fan. There are quite a few here.

Tell us what music you listen to and what plans if any you may have for your Hi-Fi.

I see you're a bit of a Quad fan, so am I and quite a few others here. Which Quad CD player do you use? I have had thoughts about supplementing my Quad ESLs with a sub-woofer, which one do you use?
