I am trying to put together a 2nd system for the kitchen. I've got a pair of b&w dm 303 and now I'm looking for a suitable amp. I've been looking at amps from the popular brands that are around the £100-£200 range 2nd hand. I've been looking at things like audiolab 8000a and arcam a65+ simply because these are the amps that I know. These amps get that many bids on eBay they are clearly still very popular (can't believe how much a 15 year old music fidelity xa1 still goes for!). I'm guessing that there are amps out there that are at least as good as these, but less popular and therefore possibly better value for money. Does anyone have any suggestions of amps that never got the recognition they deserved in their day and that may be found at a steal now?

That's exactly the sort of thing I'm after. Reckon I'll give it a go. Many thanks.

That is a nice amp. Very good sound and beautifully finished. You don't see many about.
