Hi
Got another itch to scratch so im after a decent pioneer pl direct drive turntable,something like a PL-570.
What have you got??

I Have one a PL-570X in mint original condition it also has the user manual and original inner one outer packaging , also in full working order
These in this condition are very rare and not cheap :)

Different presentation, and takes time to adjust Jamie. Dont go with initial feeling, but give it some time. Wasnt convinced i really liked mine initially, but it was just because it did some things differently

One factor to consider when looking at quite elderly DD decks - serviceability and availability of obsolete chips and parts. That's one of the reasons why I mentioned the PL-71 - it pre-dated the complex quartz-locked era, and as a result is eminently serviceable and repairable (search this forum for NRG's PL-71 threads). The PL-71 has manual fine speed adjustment and a gentle servo action, which means it's right up there with the most musical turntables ever produced.

Very good point. Mine isnt locked either
