Hi All,

I have these Kefkit 3 for sale, they are dated 1974.

I really want to make some BBC LS3/5a monitors using the T27 and B110, but I could be still thinking about it years down the line.
I could build some nice boxes and see what they sound like as is.

So thought someone might be able to do something with them now.
These have all the kit parts, grills etc..
These will be a pig to post but could split..etc

£250

I owned a pair of these with the acoustic butterworth crossover upgrade from Falcon they are very good.

Very nice. Those are late models, with the B139 with 'corners' and the exposed/raised dome T27.

For what it's worth, I loved the Concerto's when placed on low 10" stands. Falcon can replace the mids and tweeters should they ever get damaged and they also make upgraded crossovers for them.

If only you could make some decent boxes for the baffles. FAR more realistic than any squeaky LS3/5A imo and ime....

these might not be here long, I've started doing some sketches.
Something that incorporates extra height so that a stand isn't needed.

Yeah. Keep 'em Duncan. The taller cabinets are definitely the way to go. The Concerto was probably my favourite KEF of all.

I knew someone who had made concrete enclosures for their Kef Concertos (in retrospect they must have used the Kef Kit 3s), and very good they were too.

The concrete enclosures were clad with veneered chipboard, so looked good as well. Unfortunately the aesthetics were let down by the Dexion frame stands he had made!
