Hi all,
So I've been looking now for a few months for any technical information regarding the above amp. And failed :brickwall:
I have seen the posts on AOS and have a hifi critic review of the amp. Other than that nothing...
So if someone out there has one or knows someone who has one please say hello...
The links on AOS referring to "greenhomeelectonics" go nowhere now. I have tried to contact Dave Powel but hes not active on here anymore, anybody know him ?
Thanks...
Karl

I must have the rarest Amp on the planet...? :hmm:
Sorry Karl I never saw your original post. Dave retired a couple of years back now so Greenholme no longer trades and I think he visits here rarely if at all.
I recall the amp you mention very vaguely but I can't be the slightest bit of help with it.

I thought I had that. My Classic Tubes CT15 EL34 monos.
Anyway, I believe your amp is a Tsakaridis Devices product. Why not contact them? http://www.tsakiridis-devices.com/integrated_amplifiers_theseus.html

Might well have been a one off to judge response.
Is it working, and if so, is it any good?

Well yep in a word.. To me anyways. I have it coupled with a Yarqin 12B valve preamp that's been heavily upgraded.
And using Tanoy Oxfords.. My deck is a self design but started life as a planar3 now has a twin base setup a granite base that houses the motor and bearing, and the top that's isolated for the arm... Works well..

Walpurgis, thanks what makes you think it's from there..?
I'm lead to believe that Dave Powell who has posted on here was the guy who had these amps built...?

That can't be certain. Manufacturers don't always start a product line with 1 as a serial number.

This is a quote from Dave Powel...
The final specs are unaltered, we have found some better speaker posts, which we have used. It comes with a metal cover for health and safety purposes but it looks much better naked so that's how we have done the photos. There will be better ones available as soon as I have worked out how to get the best out of my photo software.
As a result of some feedback we had we have made the bias adjustable and measurable from the top panel. The amp can be switched to triode or ultra linear, there are seperate pots and test points for each mode. We have also upgraded the volume control to a high quality Alps device. This is the very first factory built one, the first run will be of just10 units, they will be available in about 8 weeks time.
Hope you enjoy the piccies, if anybody wants to pre-order one please let me know, price will be £595, including shipping to any mainland UK address.
Dave.
