For sale is my Black 430mm version of the Music First Audio TVC. It has 25% larger cores. It has remote control,twin XLR inputs and outputs as well as RCA inputs and outputs, +6db signal boost, ground lift. When used on balanced output, the transformer converts the signal to balanced, a great way to use unbalanced kit to best effect with a balanced power amp, enabling a mixing of balanced an unbalanced sources.
This is a customised unit as it has a Home Theatre pass through. An additional 2-position switch, which appears to have been factory fitted - see the internal shot) at the rear allows the front speakers in a home theatre system to be isolated and switched to 2 channel mode.
Sound quality is excellent, strengths include transparency (it is most silent preamp I've heard) Imaging: the soundstage provides a silent background with individual singers and instruments tightly focused and in their own space. Depth and width of the stage with my set up is so impressive. Inner detail: timbre of instruments and vocals- absolutely first class.
Im not entirely sure if this is the silver or copper version
The cost of the copper version was around £4000 when new. The silver one was higher.
I have the original packaging, manual, remote control and remote control power supply.
I would describe its condition electronically as A1. Physically I would say its nigh on perfect, although there is a blemish on the rear which I have attempted to show in the photographs. From the front, sides and top its 10/10. From the rear
9/10 but not visible when in use.
I'm asking £1600 collected from East Yorkshire (1/2 an hour East of York). I am willing to send it by courier, fully insured and packaged professionally, Royal Mail/Parcel Force tracked and signed for.
