Yep, these are proper chubsters !
Ideal for getting older floor-standers up off the .. er .. floor, these are hefty old beasts and spiked top and bottom.
The base-plate spikes are the usual size jobbies, while the ones directly under the speakers themselves on the top-plate are more the smaller, grub-style size.
I did have a pair of KEF Calindas on them but having sold those particular speakers I don't have a use for them anymore.
The dimensions are as follows :
Height : 40cm
Base-plate : 30cm x 30cm
Top-plate : 28cm x 28cm
I would imagine they could also be used for bulkier power amps or even for a turntable or other source if you like living in a minimalist, far eastern, no shoes, no sofa, low-down kind of a way.
They're groovy, like those heads on Easter Island.
They're massive, like the slabs at Stonehenge.
They're simple, like Wayne Rooney.
Unlike Wayne Rooney, they're not over-priced.
I'm asking a mere £40 for someone to take them away ..
