Slee phono stages. How good are They?

I had the ERA V Gold and loved it. More than the EAR 834P that I'd used up until then. I now use a Reflex M, which offers more lucidity, but is no more musical.

I've got three turntables running with three different Graham Slee phono amps - an Era Gold V, my first, a Reflex M, and the new Accession paired with a GS Elevator step up amp for MCs. I've never felt the need to look beyond GS as these offer captivating musicality and clarity. The newer ones advance the performance, and the Accession (https://www.hifisystemcomponents.com/phono-preamps/accession-mm-phono-preamp.html) especially is a stonking piece of kit, with first class imaging and depth. As well as the fixed output, it has a variable output making LPs rips a lot easier, and which could also be used direct into a power amp for a truly minimalist vinyl system.

If I was going to buy one I would buy the reflex C with the basic power supply and then make my own better power supply

I did back to back tests with the best slee amps and updated power unit against a MF V-LPS2 and the internal MM phono on an Arcan A19.

Very little difference between them and I kept the MF V-LPS2. They can be found at reasonable s/h price on the web.

I did not try the MC option as I am happy with my 2M black and sticking to MM.
