Another batch of fine classical LPs has arrived in my local charity shop and I am selling them on behalf of the charity.

All postage at cost - £2.85 per 2Kg using RM Small Packet service. Or other services at your request - 1st class, signed for etc - at cost.

All images are stock from t'web to save one hell of a lot of hassle for me. :)
Condition of sleeves, boxes, LPs as noted.

Nope, I've not listened to all of all of them. I have sampled most of them. This donor has previously provided excellent quality LPs!
All would probably benefit from a go on a decent RCM, as per usual.

Are you keeping all the Shosty for yourself these days? ;)

Marco.

Sadly, the donor does not seem to have been a Shosty fan. :(

Stravinsky, yes - Shosty, no.

Lol... Well, you know that if anything interesting, Shosty wise, pops up (vinyl or CD), just drop me a PM and consider it sold for your favourite charity! :)

Nope, what you see is what I got.

Suffered I mean studied all that stuff at uni (which is one of the reasons I hate opera so much) ... I'm not really into much after about 1870 and certainly not big orchestral. Wolf, Mahler (the songs mainly), Richard Strauss, bit of Bartok chamber music ... and of course British song from the likes of Britten, Finzi & VW.

I do like the Shosty solo piano music and the string quartets but again, the symphonies are a bit overcooked for me (though I do remember a thoroughly jaw-dropping performance of the Lenningrad at the Music Halls in Aberdeen by the SNO when I was about 16).
