Hi Guys , so I now have my Yams setup and I can reveal that they are indeed very revealing though still enjoyable ( to me ).
I am currently running them with my Technics SU-V8x and the more I listen the more I'm enjoying it .
My other options are as follows :
ACCUPHASE E203
MARANTZ PM4
2x ROTEL RB-976

My question for all you wise hifi nuts is ' what would you use with them ?'
My other question is : could I make use of the 2 Rotel 6 channel power amps and if so how the hell do I connect them ??

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'd try all of them with a variety of music and see which I preferred.

In theory I would have thought the Accuphase, but theory and practice are often two different things.

I can't say I've been much of a fan of Rotel amps but I don't know these particular ones and have no experience of the other two amps either - so not much help I'm afraid.

So the Technics SU-V8X is my amp of choice believe it or not , having said that I haven't tried the Marantz PM4 .

Plenty of watts and a high damping factor gets the best from the bass drivers.
You could use one of the 6 channel amps and go active.
If the 6 channels can be bridged, producing 3 channels, which can be done on some Rotel Amps, that would allow both amps to be used active.
If staying passive no need for all the channels.
