SJS Arcadia pre amp
After agreeing the purchase of another one of Simon Shilton's cracking pre's mine is up for sale.
Generally viewed as a 1.5 model, this is a class act.
Cosmetically its in great condition, not perfect but a couple of barely noticable marks.

This is an earlier model with the fuller sounding Philips 5687 valves. It had been unmolested prior to going to Simon so was as per original until it was upgraded & fully serviced by SJS in March 2015.

Key upgrades include;
Full silver rewiring.
installation of Tantulum film resistors.
NOS General Electric rectifier valve.
New earth lift arrangement as per later models
Rewired mains socket as per later models
+ more

Cash on collection from Muswell Hill north London very much preferred.

I realise that this, the Teac transport & DAC I'm currently selling are quite expensive items and I'm a new member to this forum so I'd just like to let people know that I've been a member on another site since 2013.
I hope that they'd vouch for me (could be a bad thing) but regardless I've had a few transactions and they've gone without any hitches.

Got it this afternoon, Richard is a real gent to deal with, tea and coffee offered, listened to some music, could have talked all day, two boring old gits together!!! got it home sounds fantastic cant be happier, thanks mate
