12 month absence what have I missed plus advice needed

Due to ill health I been away for nearly 12 months it was only two night ago I finally turned my system on :)
so due to my spinal condition I haven`t even been able to play music currently waiting on my forth spinal operation ,When I fired up the system and finally managed to put a Lp on it was bliss to finally hear music again but one thing I have noticed is I have a fair bit of rumble I know it`s down to the bearing but there is no way I can afford a mike new bearing so to save time trawling through the forum is there any new alternatives that will not break the bank or anyone on here modding bearing`s

I did put a brand new one in the slight rumble is getting on my tit`s and I feel the bearing is the last bit of the jigsaw

Have a look for the IanMac bearing on here. A cost effective upgrade from what I have read from happy users.

The other one to consider is a Inspire Hifi SL1210 bearing modification.... it is the one they use in their Monarch turntable (heavily modified technics 1210 components)...... it has audio origami synthetic oil/ PTFE in it. Seems well made , and the measurements on the Monarch which uses the same bearing are good (see Hifi News and Hifi world reviews which measured performance of the motor/ bearing). Robert Isherwood, the proprietor is pleasant to deal with.

Not sure why Inspire Hifi technics mods don't feature on this forum much..... the Inspire Hifi products look well made and are generally all favourably reviewed by the hifi press.

Then there the Funk Firm 'Spin' bearing - but this is a bit dearer I'm sure.
