Does anyone use tangential tracking tonearms on the their Techies?
What is your experience with them - the good, bad , the awesome ???? Is it worth it?
Would be nice if you can post some images =) of your turntables.....

I've always thought techie direct drive, speed stability with tangential tracking arm tracking accuracy should equal great sound quality but would be interested in your experiences.....

That's the Terminator arm from Trans-Fi Audio: http://www.trans-fi.com/

There may be members here using similar arms.

Geoff, interested to hear if you think tangential arms like the trans-fi are appreciably better than normal tonearms, SQ wise.
The trans-fi seems vey reasonable compared to most tangential trackers.... but looks fiddly with the air pump - added complexity.
I've seen the Clearaudio TT5 - if has a polished glass tube, no lubrication required. Obviously this has more friction compared to a air suspended tangential tracker, but would this make a difference?
