It's with some reluctance that I've decided to offer my Wand unipivot
tonearm for sale. However I've had it a while now and whilst it's been absolutely stunning in looks and performance I fancy a change of direction and it seems silly to have it sitting unused in the spare room.
Bought from a guy over in Cheshire about 2 years ago, I believe it's the classic model which was bought direct from DBL at some point.
The Wand Classic Tonearm*is aimed at the enthusiast who want great sound for a great price. It has been stripped of everything that doesn't contribute to that aim.*As such when I bought the arm it was fully manual cuing, since then the fine
folk at DBL were able to provide me with a matching arm lift assembly which makes cueing a simpler prospect. There a lot of info to be found online about this arm and reviews all paint a glowing picture of it.
As can be seen in the pictures the wand uses a large diameter carbon tube and to me looks amazing still, the sound is actually much better than the looks. Swapping from a rega rb301 to this was a revelation, the sound stage grew immensly and everything sounded far more alive and realistic.
I don't have the original box but will ensure its packaged securely along with its set up tools and information sheet. Price including RM recorded delivery is £400.00. Collection is of course more than welcome from Liverpool, I occasionally travel down to the Midlands so might be able to deliver or meet up maybe.
Pictures will be up very shortly.
