Great story - anyone got a similar one about a piece of kit that came back?

I knew someone at school whos parents used to label everything of his. Even his clothes.. I guess it has its uses. Nice ending for the guy.

Had some "homing pigeon" vinyl that came back to me from when I sold the lot as a skint student.

Got first CD player and decided no more vinyl.
Rat Records, Decourceys Arcade in Glasgow, 1991/92 took 4 bags of vinyl to sell to get some cash.
Didn't get much if I remember, but at the time it helped.

Zip forward to 2004, Glasgow Barrowland record fair, there I was browsing and I saw a couple of albums that I used to have in my collection. Scratch that, they WERE the albums I used to have, complete with shopping list handwritten on the paper inner sleeve!
When I got a turnable again recently was very cool to play them and remember where the scratches would come in.
Ah nostalga...
