Hi All,

For sale is my TD (AOS Classic Series) Mains Power Filter:

This was built for me by Anthony Matthews (owner of Tube Distinctions), then further updated by Mark Grant.

Mark replaced the standard Crabtree sockets and MK plug with high quality Furutech FP-1363R 13A sockets, which on their own retail INDIVIDUALLY for £85.99. See here (and read the spec): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Furutech-FP-1363-S-G-Gold-UK-Wall-Socket-Outlet-High-End-Performance-DECO-/221675265425?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368 and a Furutech FI-1363R 13A mains plug, which on its own retails for £87.99. See here (and read the spec): http://www.futureshop.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=9321#.V0cBfucrJ-U

He also replaced the mains lead with Furukawa EE/F-S 2.6 solid-core cable. See here: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?17119-Oyaide-Furukawa-EE-FS-2-0-PCOCC-A-power-cable-offer and note how much it retails for per metre! ;)

This is a high quality piece of kit that works very well at stopping noise getting to your digi boxes.

Price for one of these now in STANDARD form is £345 (see here: https://markgrant.co.uk/mains-filters-and-regenerators/295-tube-distinctions-mains-power-filter.html), so a TRULY AMAZING saving to be made here with this audiophile-grade unit, which offers a significant sonic upgrade on the standard item!!

£200, plus post. First to send a PM or express their interest here gets it, so be quick!

Ian.

Guys, this is a TOTAL BARGAIN, given the cost of the Furutech plug, Furukawa cable and Furutech sockets alone, never mind its effectiveness as a digital noise/mains filter. It's the same unit I use in my system, and trust me, will transform the sound of virtually any CDP or DAC connected to it! :)

Ideal for curing the often bright and 'grainy' sound of CD, and removing what is known as 'digital glare', so if you want your CDs to sound as good as your records (presuming you own a good turntable], then this is *the* toy to buy....

I'd be snapping Ian's arm off, if I were you, before he realises that he's virtually giving this filter away!! ;)

'Low-ballers' need not apply... ;)

Guys, this thing is worth £200 all day long, so come on, smell the scent of super-savings, and snap this one up pronto!

Marco.

Lol... My services are available for hire at £10.50 per word, plus VAT. Please see my secretary, Struth (she's the one with a rather pained expression in the fetching red RaRa skirt), to arrange the necessary payment.
