So, I get an email from my local record shop owner who says that he's hit pay dirt with lots of amazing 1st press Jazz albums in mint condition, am I interested?

So I take a walk over and then after 10 minutes part with £200.:doh:

it's okay as long as you don't have to fund a crack habit as well as a record habit.

that's the key, isn't it?

have an equally addictive, but significantly more expensive hobby and it gets hard to justify more records, when a big chunk went on the racing car a week before.

A racing car is just behind a horse or a boat in the monetary black hole stakes.

Hi fi, records and freebase cocaine addictions are mere bagatelles by comparison ;)
