NOW SOLD

For sale a rather rare (in the UK) Musical Surrounding Nova II battery powered phono stage.
Superb stage with almost endless flexibility in loading and gain.
You can also use it with mains power or on battery - switchable with one button. The battery charges automatically when plugged in

Extremely detailed and neutral but smooth phono stage. The best bit about it is how absolutely and incredibly quiet it is even at the highest volumes - the noise floor is astoundingly low. You won't know what low noise means till you've tried a battery phono stage.

Excellent reviews of this on the web.

The last I saw these retailed in the UK for £1100-1200

This one is about 2 years old and I got it from the US. Its in immaculate condition with full packaging. You will need a US/EU to UK plug adapter for the PSU

£550 collected from SW London or postage at cost

Hi Deba

A few questions , How long does the take to charge the battery pack ?
and when charged how long before you need to charge it again ?
I am always a bit unwary with rechargeable batteries as the efficiency drops off with time / repeated re charging
Does the user manual times match what you have 2+ years later ?

Thanks

To be honest, I've never measured the charging times since it made no difference. I just leave it charging when my system is on but the phono stage not in use. And when using the phono stage simply press the button to put it into battery mode. If the battery drains, it automatically switches to charging mode, but even on my longest listening sessions of 4-5 hours it stayed fully in the battery mode and never went into charging mode.
Very smart and easy to use system
