All valve Pioneer LX34 Receiver. 14 valves. point to point hand wired!

Very reluctant sale of this.... Basic servicing and replacement of some coupling caps carried out by myself several years ago. Magic eye tuning indicator is dim but easily visible in non direct light. other than that it works well. Even the stereo decoder uses valves! Completely hand wired, point to point. 8WPC. Switch for 8 and 16 Ohm speakers. There can't be many of these about! Good overall condition.

WOW! What would this cost in labour to build today?

Got to be worth at least £250 for this all valve rarity folks. ONO Will be taken down after a day or two to discourage procrastination... ;) Don't delay buy it today :D sold as seen.

Whats yer thoughts on the asking price? rare so no idea really.... If a decent Rogers integrated amp (with the valves in :D) goes for £300 - 550.... this is a similar amp with the same 8WPC from ECL82's but you get an FM tuner.... and it's much rarer and has a magic eye.. if dim.. I could be robbing me self here... dunno..

The only non clean bit about the innards is dust on the top so I hardly think that matters... anyhow it does say ONO;)

No. I used it for a couple of months, years ago, in the workshop for background music from FM but that's it...

I've just had a google as to value of these and it's hard to find many examples to go by but one went for £270, one for £166 and there's one on the bay at £139 with two weeks to go. If anyone is interested this gives an idea of value... make an offer...

You and me! That's a bargain at £120 and no doubt someone with the time to find the right buyer could double their money on it....
