For Sale Castle Avon Speakers & Original Boxes

Hello Guys

The Clear out continues :eek: so here goes:

For sale an iconic pair of castle speakers the Avon was produced between 1996 & 1997 and a best seller of the time and won many awards these are boxed the speaker condition is used has light sun fading on one top of one speaker but perfectly presentable they do have a few nicks here and their also but they are in full working order and sound superb really crisp treble smooth but tight bass but also clean in scale hard to beat at this kind of money. They are quite heavy so collection only these are the oak version or are they? these can be BI wired or single wired ive only single wired them demo most welcome delivery in the local Bournemouth / Poole & surrounding area possible looking for £80 a good investment as they will go up in value selling as downsizing collection.


PS sorry for the bad pictures i only took them this morning whilst digging out the other stuff to sell this morning. Will update proper ones with the drivers and boxes in due course please bare with me i know their bad but its what i have currently..

Can say with certainty, that if I were still living in Bournemouth, I'd be bringing the money over in double-quick time - definitely worth a punt.

Seems like a lot of classy speaker for the money.

I agree with Andr'e - I'm fairly certain these were £600-£700 new?

Plus, they'll polish up nicely with a bit of love. . . .

Put it this way, if you haven't sold them by the summer (when I'm down for me hols) for this price, I'll bite your hand off and bring them back with me . . .

Yes i know their cheap guys but needs must i have seen them go up to £120 but thats it...i think £75 is fair and i wont go below that someones coming Thursday to take a look and possibly buy but who knows. This current stage im keeping little cottage brands like the Quantum , A&R's , Aristons , Audio Note im keeping the stuff i know im gonna use which sounds daft but is indeed true the items i am selling i have no attachment to so might aswell see if i can sell them for a fair price..:)

PS on the photos grant i cant get to them at present their buried in the corner of the room surrounded buy other goodies...:eek:

Makes perfect sense, Dan - it sounds as if you've got your priorities right.

Keep the stuff I'm going to use . . . I like it! Going to keep repeating that to myself through the day and when I come back from work tonight, I'm going to climb into the attic and .... well, maybe. I'll see.
