Just this one going back up with photos.... Not even cleaned after removing from shelf... NO VALVES FITTED. As I'm selling this very cheap (to sell today) it seems pointless to waste my time cleaning it etc!
10 WPC RMS

Would have originally had wooden "picture frame" type trim around outside which I removed years ago as it looked really naff IMHO. Will probably clean up nice. Glue still around edges in photo. Plastic lens for on/off light missing.

Clean and good inside. Note legendary Mullard "dog bone" capacitors. Probably the most reliable ever made. Never known a dud one in 40 years!

Heavy duty cable for speakers fitted in place of original tiny screws at some time in its past but not by me...

No valves as previously mentioned. I can supply all but the output valves (4 x ECL86) at extra cost but you are buying as is. Needs 4 x ECL86, 2 x ECC83, 2 x EF86 and GZ34. (not ultra rare ECC807 as I thought it needed in PM to someone earlier!). All readily available. One output valve socket has been replaced at some time but a nice job was made of it.

This amp worked well when I last tried it maybe 10 years ago but valves have been plucked for other uses in the mean time....
They were supplied with or without wooden case when new and you can see which this is... Matching FM tuner available.

These go for £400 - £550 in very good condition and with all valves present on ebay. Obviously I'll except a lot less than that! (3 figures though so don't bother offering £50!).

MUST SELL AND BE PAID FOR BY 8PM TONIGHT. Best reasonable offer received by then gets it. Bag yourself a vintage thermionic bargain :)

Would be much easier if you name a price - isn't this the forum rule?

Yes Max it is.

Jez this isn't an auction, please state what you consider a fair price.

With great reluctance I'll say £150 OVNO. It's heavy so expect about £30 postage. Obviously I'm desperate for money to eat etc or I wouldn't be "selling the family silver" for whatever I can get for an INSTANT sale.... Don't go into the hi fi trade folks... big mistake... Leanest time for work I've ever known in 12 years... much worse than the few weeks after xmas so **** knows whats going on at the moment... holidays? Nice weather? Is nothing breaking down and needing repairing due to some strange celestial alignment? I wonder how others are doing at the moment?
It must sell today so will be withdrawn from sale at 8pm if not sold as previously mentioned, if only to spite the exploitative twats thinking lets see how desperate he gets and how cheap I can get it for...

Front panel appears to varnished/lacquered over the brass (or whatever metal it is) and the marking/mottling is on this outer lacquer so I'm sure it could be made to look very nice quite easily ;) As can be seen in the photos the actual innards are clean and original....

Yes the 18 gauge brass front is laquered after screen printing.

An hour to go folks.... £150 ono is stupidly cheap for one of these! You will find shiny ones for £550 on ebay and this one will sound just the same. I'll throw in a set of valves (other than the ECL86 output valves which I don't have) for an extra £25 but obviously they won't be new and won't be Mullard!

Now withdrawn from sale as promised. Id rather skip it that sell it for less than this super bargain price its at now.....

Go on, twist Jez's arm. He may relent. Quite nice sounding the HG88s. Better than the Cadets.

Yeah. I'm still thinking it over. I don't need a valve amp - I've got one I'm very happy with. But, it could be interesting to hear something else. Hmm
