I know interest checks are pretty annoying, but I have this cdp which is in very good condition cosmetically and which I need to move on.

It had been skipping, and so I replaced the laser unit (VAM1202). It now works, and sounds fantastic, but sometimes it gives an error message before recognising the disc, and when I run it through some of the service modes it makes odd noises...

So I can only assume I didn't fit the new laser perfectly...

So I am wondering if anyone would be interested in buying this in this condition, or whether I need to go and get it serviced and all running perfectly before moving her on?

Oh right - I thought IC was just to see if it was worth thinking about what I might charge!

How about I start the haggling at £100?

It's in N1 - no box but I have the KI certificate/manual somewhere.

I guess that is "no interest" so far?

I wonder if it is the price or the model?

I would say price and the fact that it is faulty.

Lol.

It's a fair point, overpriced intentionally as on here I often see "price £xxx FIRM" on things that end up going for a lot less.

I've no idea what a fair price is really but am happy to consider any offers.
