FS. Early Townshend Rock Turntable

Selling my Elite Cranfield Rock Model 2, this is an early example of the Townshend Rock. It is being sold as a project due to the fact that the trough is not included, this one also has a platter made up of a delrin and plate glass sandwich
which imho sounds better than the original plaster of paris version.

The bearing is in good condition and I have fitted a new drive belt as well. There are some marks and paint chips, the worst of these are around the on/off switch as shown in one of the photos. The clamp is included.

This one is fitted with a Linn mount arm board, other boards are very easy to make and sometimes come up for sale on the bay.
Would prefer collection on this but will pack well if the buyer would like to arrange their own courier.

An opportunity then to own a Townshend Rock, a nice compact turntable which sounds good and has very nice bass, looking for £140 for this one, a bargain for one lucky AOS member.

Think I might be but it is time to have a good tidy up as I have far too much spare gear cluttering up the house.
