By any standards this was an unusually good amp and in its day was out of sight from its price competitors and is probably still pretty good now. I used to sell loads of these when I worked at KJ in the 1970s, no correction, they sold themselves. They worked really well with IMF Super Compacts and Audiometer LS3/5as as I recall....ah happy days!

Bought one new in 1983, still doing good service driving my brother's ELS57s whilst he tries to track down a problem with his 44/405 combo. Only bettered in my own system by my KEL84.

These things sell regularly around the £40 mark, which is ridiculously good value. Usually a good idea to replace the reservoir caps, which is a simple job.

Everyone likes these amps except for Geoff.

Btw auctions are not allowed here, although admittedly Jez has got away with it this time. Please always state a fixed price people it ism't too much to ask for a free service.

Its a version you can split the Pre/Power sections. You can then use it with the matching 'SA60' Power amp in Active..

So the A60 expert is back, I only just noticed, best regards from me.

I hate the bloomin things, only joking, quite nice amps.
