AVI Laboratory Series Integrated Amplifier in excellent condition, with remote and original box - £725

I bought this amp last year from hifiwigwam, but now have an Electrocompaniet ECI5 lined up to replace it.

It's a fine amp, unbelievably controlled given its size. Rated 200wpc at 8 ohms, 325wpc at 4 ohms. It does a great job driving my current hungry Magnepan MMG planars.

I'm located in Swindon, but work in Wythall (south of Birmingham), so it can be collected from either location, or I could meet up close to either town, or anywhere inbetween. It's very heavy so postage + insurance would be extra.

Had one of these a few years back. Certainly has some clout. Gave my Naim 250 a run for its money. Wish I had a reason to use another amp but I don't.

Jerry and I were impressed with one of these after trying some other amps on my M&Ds at a bake of a few years back. Only amp there that could drive them. I was after one for a while, but just didn't want to pay the wonga being asked on ebay.

Really ballsy amp - lots of control. Bored is not a word you could associate with it. And it doesn't look like it has it in it. Pretty cool really for such a compact design.
