Interesting.
I'm familiar with the lovely Goldring - how does it compare to the Shelter?

My opinion ( Who am I though  )
The Shelter is a more clinical and accurately detailed sound as opposed to the Eroica that has very slightly warmer presentation sound , I like them both :)

That's a big compliment to the Eroica Al.
I have one as well. It's not the last word in 'polished presentation', but very musical and enjoyable. There's a decent happy vibrancy and honesty about it.

An old friend recently made reference on here to now having a "simpler system" now . As I have some knowledge of his previous kit which has included SME 20, Koetsu Urushi, Krell, Audio Research, B&W, Wilson etc it would be good to know what the system is now. As I often have fond memories of earlier systems !
