Hi all,Ian here.First time poster on any site so go easy on me! I`ve been obsessed about hi-fi and music for 30 years now,and came across your site through my enthusiasm for mr Beresford`s DAC`s. I`m really enjoying the open friendly atmosphere on this site,unlike any other i`ve come across :). My system is fairly budget in quality,but it has given me much enjoyment. PIONEER PD-S705 (as transport),TECHNICS SU-V570 (amp),BERESFORD TC-7510 (modified dac),WHARFDALE DIAMOND 10.1`s.

Welcome indeed.I'm not so far away,being in Dunfermline.I passed through Biggar the other day.stopped at that lovely bakers in the town centre.had a tuna roll and vanilla slice.Very nice! :-)

Welcome Ian! As you've seen, we're a bit different here, and hopefully you'll stick around for the fun! I always lusted after a stable platter Pioneer when they first came out.

I would like to apologise to all on this forum for initially posting a hello and then not posting again! Other things in my life got in the way at the time, which meant that hi-fi forums was the last thing on my mind! That was a couple of years ago and things have now calmed down a bit. I can now concentrate on the important things in life-Hi-Fi! I look forward to getting to know you all, seems like a great forum (still!)
As far as music goes i like a vast range of stuff, from death metal to the almost ambient- a broad church indeed!
My hi-fi has changed quit a bit as well
1. Two Behringer A500's as monoblocks
2.Tannoy F3 Custom speakers
3. Beresford TC-7510 (modified)
4. Custom built pc (with asus xonar card)
5. Pioneer PL-12D turntable
6. TCC-754 phono pre amp
From now on i will not be a stranger!
