André, an Astonishingly good looking 47 year old from S.Yorks.

No knowledge of Music or Audio

Every day i use the system i purchased new in 1982 [J.A Michell 'Focus One' Turntable/SME '3009, S2 Imp' - A&R Cambridge Ltd 'A60' Amp - Heybrook 'HB2' Loudspeakers - Ross 'RE-272' Studio Monitor Series Headsets.. No CD Player & never ever intend using one now or in the future.

Music Preference: 100% devoted to Old School Trance [Early to late 90's only] I avoid early 90's Rave music like the plague as would a Progressive Rock fan avoid Pop Psych :D

My collection of Vinyl is completely made up of 12" singles [2,000 Strong, but still have a short list of 1,200 releases yet to locate]. Never ever will i own or play a LP again..

That's it Ta!

Welcome back André,

It's good to see you posting again here after such a long 'leave of absence'. How is the synth playing coming along? Any new toys in your collection?

Enjoy the forum (I say that to everyone)
Barry

Hi Barry
Took a break from Hi-Fi bought an expensive Digital Synth Studio. Never again utter waste of Money.. No wonder Musicians hanker after Vintage Synths..

One that will be in the collection for a long time....superb amplifier great scale but its the bass that hits you but also quirky a rare collectible item not many about and all for less then £70 including the recent service and recap...that reminds me i must put it on again i was using it less then a month ago excellent....but of a bugger with the din but shit happens

Sod the Hi-Fi, let's talk about analogue synths and Moog modulars that neither of us are ever going to be able to afford...???

Digital mate, you know its better because it is digital and has to be so much better than that analogue crap. Maybe that is why so many people are now buying Moog's and VCS3's. Maybe that is why so many people are now catching up with vinyl and diamonds and shit, because digital is so much better...???
