For sale : Cambridge NP30 streamer

I’ve been very pleased with this. I’ve had it about 3 years, and it was my first introduction to streaming etc. I’m not techy; it just works.

The front is unmarked, there are some light marks on the top cover which the photos exaggerate, the remote was delivered with a cracked lens cover, and it’s sometimes a bit temperamental if the batteries are left in (take them out, count to your favourite big number and then try again). The best way of controlling it, though, is via the app.
Only selling because I’ve found a MM30 streaming board for my Primare preamp.

Edit: I've just packed it in its box and found the original mains lead in there. Despite the box being labelled "UK", the mains cable has a European plug. I think that's because there's no room in the box for a UK style plug. If you're like me, you've probably got loads of spare figure of 8 leads kicking around anyway!
£125 including UK postage.

Hi, can I ask.....on the Trustedreviews.com review, it says no Spotify, but on your unit, It says Spotify!

To my mind it looks like it does have it. Edit point again....I use premium Deezer, can I still use it on your unit?

Also, I need to ask how tall the aerial thing is on the back to see if it would fit.

Thanks.

Hi,
I think Spotify was added as an update. I've never used it, though. I don't think Deezer features on the list of what's available, I know Qobuz doesn't, which I would have been interested in.
I've packed it all up, now, but from memory, the aerial is about 3 inches, but it pivots, so doesn't have to be vertical, and before I ran an ethernet cable to it, in my room it worked perfectly with the aerial at around 45°ish.
A quick search will find the user manual, or it's here:

Cordially,

Thanks for the quick reply Martin, I need to give it some thought then as I run Deezer.

Very tempted mind!

My first streamer, a belter with lovely sound and a great app. Lovely, and worth every penny.

That would have been in my set up had it run Deezer! :)

You can use this as a digital preamp, too, making it ideal for a small scale office / 2nd system. Just add some active speakers !
