FS: Canor TP134 Integrated Stereo Valve amplifier

Terrific sounding integrated valve amp from Slovakian manufacturer Canor (formerly known as Edgar, I think). Delivers 2 x 35w, first 10w in Class A. Remote-controlled, four analogue inputs plus a tape loop. Outputs for 4 and 8ohm speakers. Beat all the competition in a Hi-Fi News Group Test in 2014...

Runs completely silently and is built to the highest standards - no foibles whatsoever. Had a fresh set of cryo-treated GrooveTube EL34s just a few months ago as well as small signal valves. Physical condition is mint, bar a tiny mark or two on the remote control (see pic).

Weighs 22kg so, as ever, pick up preferred from my place in Bedford. Having said that though I have all the original packaging and so can send if the buyer is happy to take the risk. £800 firm.

I'm amazed. £2.5K amp in great condition at a giveaway price. Canor kit does sound really good - at least every time I have heard it it has.

Mind-boggling, isn't it? One potential buyer withdrew at the last moment after he read a negative thread on HiFiWigwam, I can only imagine that others have been put off by its content. (it's easy enough to search for). One can only (and should only) speak as one finds so all I can say is that this has been the most trouble-free valve amplifier I've ever owned, as well as being one of the best sounding. Odd times indeed...
