Hello there. My name is Chen Ke, and I live in Xi'an now, which was capital of 13 dynasties of China.

I'm a student in university, so have not a complete system.Usually I use my TF10 earphones, but I just bought a Technics sl1200 with a Shure M44 cartrige, well that's it.

Finally I put up a photo of Xi'an.

Welcome Chen, and thanks for the great photo.

I too have an M44-7, these old Shure cartridges are very good indeed.

Hope you enjoy the forum.

Welcome Chen, hope you will be happy here. I visited Xian five years ago with my daughter and son in law who live in Beijing. We saw the terracotta warriors and found it very moving. Wonderful place. I can't remember the name of the street where there are many restaurants and we tried food in several, I suffered on the train journey back to Beijing next day.

Oh I think that's Huimin Street which means Muslim Quarter. Now there is a HSR between Beijing and Xi'an, only need 4 hours.:)http://youimg1.c-ctrip.com/target/fd/tg/g1/M09/32/92/CghzflTx16OABOpnAAIKxrhv4ew300.jpg

Hi Chen,

I visited Xi'an nearly thirty years ago, so I expect it has changed quite bit since then. Owing to the internal flight back to Peking being brought forward six hours (unheard of then!), I wasn't able to visit the Wild Goose pagoda, which was a shame.
