I sold these to a member last autumn but sadly he was never able to come and pick them up so I have now refunded him and these are available again. I'd just like them out the way really.

Tannoy Stratfords in good working order and fair cosmetic condition. They have some oxidation on the metal frame of the mid / bass driver and light scratches to the vinyl on the cabinets. The original grilles were foam and have long since disintegrated. No major damage and the drivers (aside from the frame) are in good condition.

Collection only from just outside Bicester (M40,J9).

I sold these for £40 last year so would like that or thereabouts or happy to swap for something that takes up less space (cheap amp, cartridge, records etc).
I've still got a few bits left from a friend's father who passed away (these included) so come and have a look if anything takes your fancy.

Back in the good ol' days, we sold hundreds of pairs of these to record shops (remember them ?). They are excellent speakers for not much money. You could spend 10 x the asking price and not get such an enjoyable speaker.

Sure they will find a new home quick enough. I remember them on offer last year. Had a set of small tannoys once...e11 i think and they were super things

I've got a friend with a knackered old pair of B&W 303s, properly dented tweeters etc... I said I'd look out for something on here for him... Anyone got an idea of his these might stand up to them?

I'd sooner have the Stratfords myself. They are lively and fun. At that price it's a bit of a no brainer really.

Thanks, Geoff.

I will ask my friend if he is likely to find himself near Bicester in the near future...

If these wouldn't suit and he wants something more modern, I've also got a pair of Mordaunt Short MS902 (£40) and Q Acoustics 2010i (£75) although they are advertised elsewhere so may go.

Hello, I am really interested in your Tannoy Stratford Speakers, Could I pay you by paypal o just transfer the money to your bank account? I live in China now, but I will pay a logistics company who can take the speakers from your door, so you just need to package them. Is that posible for you?

I'm heading up to South Yorkshire tomorrow if that helps anyone on the M1 Corridor.

Surprised they've not sold at that price. They're lively, fun little speakers and worth every penny.

Looking at your location, you should have had Tannoy Oxfords
