JAN CDR-1641 Rectifier

Hi all,
I'm needing some advice on this Rectifier please. I know it has ceramic caps on top but I'm not sure what size is required or what the wire from them connects to? All help and advice with this would be greatly received. Many thanks

Hi Scott, the top caps are the connections to the two anodes.

I've tried my usual sources for data on this valve but to no avail. The standard size of most top caps is 6mm diameter, but I think these look bigger.

Yes, I've looked at caps but even if I get right size I'm unsure how they work?
Do they need connecting to the side of the valve as it has a little metal prong or do they need earthing?
All very confusing. Forgive my ignorance in this matter

With all respect, if you are asking these questions, maybe its best you avoid the tube. What did you have in mind to do with it?

Hi Lurcher, it's to be used as a rectifier for lampizator.
I'm just not very familiar with this type of tube that requires anode caps?
Hence why I'm asking for expert advice. Hopefully I should be able to set it up.

Just to let everyone know. I now have my Rectifier sorted.
Got a friend to help me when I got my new Golden Gate Lampizator.
I'm very happy [emoji41]
