I'm in the middle of a new project and need a cheap tonearm. Anything considered, don't need a head shell and must have tonearm candle present.

I did see this and for some reason ruled it out???!!???? I was thinking about a cheapo REGA. I'm quite happy refurbing the deck and seeing what turns up. ;)

Got a Rega R200 including headshell. Worked ok when I last used it many years ago. I replaced it when the RB250 first came out.

I understand there are issues with the anti-skate belt disintegrating over the years but I believe this is a DIY repair. I tried it when I rescued my Rega Planar from the garage a year ago and it seemed to play ok.

£60 + £5 p&p. Looked on ebay and the headshell on its own is going for £40.
