Dan, would it not be easier to buy one off ebay, then they are responsible for sending and packaging and all that palava. I have an Acoustic Solutions player which you could have for nothing, but I would have to package it and send it and all that .......blah blah blah:D

I got a modified Marantz CD63 that I took in part exchange from someone. But Bournemouth is not up the road for you to pick it up I suppose.

Bloody ell Dan, I have one of those, when it was working it was a fabulous CD transport (some others on here use them I think) the power supply gave up the ghost a couple of years ago and I would need to get another player to replace it.

Ive got 2 of those plus a full laser unit from another i had that the psu went.. Kept the full laser unit.... Great player and i now run mine straight rca out to a mf x10v3 buffer..with right cables it sounds damn good. Its a decent dac in there. Just needs a little help. Great remotes too

One of their faults is the drawer not staying open..happens with lots of them but is easily fixed..can be various reasons but mostly they have got stuck at some time and slipped a cog. A goog tug on the drawer when its fully extended usually solves it

A Pioneer DV 717 for a £5 now that really is a bargain..

I have two of them and using one as a transport into the AN Dac, and keeping the other as a spare in case I have any problems with the one I'm using
