In the world of mobile headphone DAC/amps, the ifi nano iDSD seems to be highly reviewed as several steps above many other mobile DACS. Has a capable battery for mobile use or unplugged desktop use, or can be powered through USB connection.

USB input. Analog outs: stero RCA or 3.5mm headphone. SPDIF out. PCM, DSD, and DXD natively with BurrBrown chipsets.

Includes all the bits that come in the box.

Smooth, balanced, detailed. To get better quality DAC/Amp, would need to look at double the retail price of the nano iDSD.

Can use as:
DAC/Amp from PC or smartphone.
DAC/Preamp for use with other power amp.
USB-SPDIF converter (if PCM input).
