My 'body clock' just naturally seems to want me to turn in by around 12.30am.

I get up shortly after I wake up. Anywhere between 6.30 to 9.00am. Being retired, it's not critical. :)

Last night we had some very heary showers and sometimes when this happens the internet slows down to a snail's pace. It did so last night so I just gave up!

Awoke this morning at what I thought was 7:00, and went to a boot sale. Because of some showers when I got there only five stalls were selling the others had packed up and fled. Came home, thought I would have another go on AoS and was surprised to find the clocks had gone forward one hour!

Think I'd better go back to bed again.

I'm an 'owl' rather than a 'lark', a night person who can often be still up at 3 o'clock. But like you, I'm retired so the day is my own and I can get up at whatever time I like (usually about 9.00 am).

Same here (in general), but defo not a morning person. I hate folk who are 'full of the joys of spring' first thing in the morning!!

I'm usually pretty groggy and grouchy until I've had my mug of hot, frothy, cappuccino and had a chance to 'come to', which usually takes about an hour. Groggy, because I'm a very deep sleeper (so when I wake up, initially I feel as if I've been drugged), and in general also need a good 8-9 hours sleep, or I simply can't function.

Being semi-retired, and working from home, I can do as I like too, and quite often have a nice wee nap in the afternoon, in front of the fire with the cats! :eyebrows:
